Emily Faley pastors in Centralia, WA at Cooks Hill Community Church, is the cohost of the Why Gen Z Podcast launching this Spring and brings 14 years of ministry experience and a commitment to constant learning to the 2025/2026 Cohort.

Janine DeLarme brings a wealth of experience in pastoral leadership and in the school district having served 20 years as a teacher, and currently serving as a Next Gen Pastor at Cooks Hill Community Church.

VOICE OF EXPERIENCE

Lo Alaman is an artist, poet, husband, father, son, and minister. He is also the founder of Urban Hymnal, a community of young adults who use creativity and art to foster the presence of God in third spaces. Inspired by the Gospel of Jesus, Lo is passionate about sharing the message of God's love through poetry, music, and storytelling. He lives in Houston with his amazing wife, Erika, and their two children.

VOICE OF EXPERIENCE

Isaac is a multifaceted artist and thinker working at the intersection of creativity, spirituality, and contemporary thought. As a worship leader and writer, his heart is that of iconoclasts, while remaining grounded in the enduring principles of orthodox Christianity. Along with his wife Emily he is the co-founder of Parallel Society, an organization centered on discipling artists. They released their inaugural discipleship course, the Parallel Society Course: A Foundation for Beauty, which can be found on RightNow Media. Isaac and Emily’s backgrounds and educations are in musical theater, where they worked nationally, and in New York City where Isaac was the lead in an off-Broadway production Cherchez La Femme. They have spent over a decade in local pastoral ministry including being a part of the planting team at Church of the City New York with Jon Tyson. They have three boys and currently live in New York state.

VOICE OF EXPERIENCE

Tiffany Bluhm is a speaker and writer with more than fifteen years of experience in ministry and nonprofit leadership. She is the author of The Women We’ve Been Waiting For, Prey Tell, and other books and Bible studies, and her writing has been featured in Publishers Weekly, Sojourners, Red Letter Christians, the YouVersion Bible app, and more. She speaks on justice, faith, leadership, and women’s liberation. She serves full-time as the Executive Director of PAX, a foundation providing mentorship and instruction to Christians of color pursuing peace, justice, and contemplation. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two sons. 

VOICE OF EXPERIENCE

Ed McDowell is the CEO of Warm Beach Camp Ministries. He also coaches and consults in the areas of board leadership and development to bring fresh perspectives to perplexing situations. Ed is the author of a devotional series titled A Well-Planted Faith in an Uprooted Culture. The goal of his writing and speaking is to challenge people to have God’s Word inform the way they live. Ed and his wife, Bev, live on Camano Island, Washington, where they live out their life mission statement: “To give our lives away for the cause of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible.”

Rev. Dr. Allison Coventry is the Assistant Superintendent for the Pacific Northwest Conference of the Free Methodist Church. With a passion for leadership development and cultural intelligence, she has pastored churches in Rochester, NY, and the Seattle area. As a Cultural Intelligence (CQ) Fellow, she is part of a global network of thought leaders dedicated to fostering a more culturally intelligent world.

Allison coaches and trains individuals and teams, equipping them for more effective leadership and cross-cultural engagement.

Based in Seattle, she enjoys coffee, hiking, and has a deep commitment to actively love and serve her community.

Katelyn Beaty is editorial director of Brazos Press and author most recently of Celebrities for Jesus: How Personas, Platforms, and Profits Are Hurting the Church. She previously served as the youngest and first female managing editor at Christianity Today magazine.
