The Program Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Childcare Center's Director in ensuring the health, safety, and quality of education for all children within the center's care. The Program Supervisor collaborates with staff to ensure that curriculum and classroom activities are properly delivered.
Applicant MUST HAVE an Early Childhood Education Certificate and a strong desire to minister to children and families.
Salary is $15-$17 per hour (depending on experience) with vacation and holidays.
*Minimum of 2 year management experience
*Meet MERIT requirements (STARS Training & background check requirements)
*2+ years experience working with children in an Early Childhood Education setting
*Must obtain TB test (negative result) before employment
*Understanding of the Early Achievers process and requirements
*Ability to lift 20lbs
*At least 21 years of age
*Effective interpersonal and small group communication skills
*Knowledge of various guidelines/rules to maintain license (including: WA Admin Codes for Licensed Childcare Centers, Dept. of Social & Health Services, USDA Food Program)
*Proficiency in written and spoken English
*Basic Computer Skills
*Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
*Proficient with Child Care Software
