Why We Are Here

Cooks Hill Community Childcare Center (CHCCC) is a non-profit Childcare Center, owned and operated by Cooks Hill Community Church as a ministry to the community. CHCCC is licensed by the State of Washington.

What parents are saying:

“Our experience at Cooks Hill Childcare Center has been excellent. From the management to the teachers in each classroom, everyone works together to make sure the children are well taken care off, safe and have lots of fun. My toddler is always excited to be there, and his hearty “Bye!” when I drop him off is so reassuring as I go through my work day.

The teachers are all friendly and helpful, and keep the children busy with age appropriate fun and learning activities. I look forward to the creative art work made with his hands and feet which he brings home every holiday and season of the year.

We are very happy with the care provided at Cooks Hill and highly recommend it to parents looking for an excellent daycare for their kids.”

Our Philosophy

We recognize that our contribution is not complete in itself. We view our service should be partnered with the families, schools, and community resources to provide the best opportunities for your child.
We are here because we want to serve you.

Our Mission

We work to encourage our children to love Jesus and our community.

Our Vision

To assist parents in our community, by providing high-quality, safe, and affordable care.

Our Curriculum

Cooks Hill Community Childcare implements the Creative Curriculum System. The Creative Curriculum is a Teaching Strategies product that focuses on project-based studies as a means for children to apply skills, and addresses four areas of development: social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language. We offer The Creative Curriculum for Infants, all toddler classes, as well as The Creative Curriculum for Preschool.

We also supplement our curriculum with Bible-based lessons from Think Orange. This curriculum empowers teachers to invite their students to grow in their understanding of God.

In addition, Cooks Hill provides other opportunities in fun and meaningful focused programming. Throughout the year there are daily or weekly things added to the program, like Science Week, Bike Week and Water Play Days!
